Me and my lovely husband went for my birthday Saturday evening. We had a amazing time. Austin our waiter, gave us so much insite, for it was our first time visiting. We had so much fun and everyone was so kind and helpful. A beautiful birthday I will always remember.

One of the higher end restaurants, but still affordable. I booked a reservation through their website. My family and I had a wonderful brunch here after church. The Italian food was spectacular and comes in big portions. Our waiter was great too. Definitely recommend and will give it 5 stars

I travel a lot in my role as CEO of a Texas-based charity, and over the years I’ve eaten at my fair share of fine Italian restaurants—coast to coast, high-end, hole-in-the-wall, hidden gems—you name it. But nothing, nothing, has hit like this place. From the moment we stepped through the doors, it felt like we’d crossed into a tucked-away corner of Rome… only wrapped in Texas soul. The atmosphere struck that rare balance—rustic charm meets quiet elegance. Warm lighting, welcoming energy, and the kind of setting that makes you want to linger a little longer. And then the food happened. It started with bread—bread to die for. Golden crust, soft inside, served up with olive oil, garlic, and a blend of spices that had to have been blessed by some old Italian grandmother in a Tuscan village. Then came the chicken parmigiana: crispy, perfectly seasoned, and smothered in just the right amount of sauce and cheese. A side of pasta so fresh, I wouldn’t be surprised if Nonna herself was back there hand-rolling it. And the portion? Enough to feed two, but so good I wasn’t about to share. What really sealed the deal, though, was the service. Our waiter, Austin, wasn’t just attentive—he was gracious, genuine, and knew the menu and the city like a maestro knows his score. The kind of service that makes the whole experience feel personal. This place has officially earned a permanent spot on our map. When we’re in Texarkana, TX, this is where we go. Tucked right in the heart of the old downtown, it’s more than just a meal—it’s an experience. Five stars, no hesitation. Honestly, I’d give six just for the bread. I should’ve snapped some pictures, but I was too busy enjoying every bite. Just know—what they bring to the table doesn’t just taste incredible, it looks like something out of a magazine spread. This place delivers on every front.

The Verona is a super fantastic restaurant! The food is among the best in quality and the Staff is amazing.

As soon as you walk in, a host is ready to greet and seat. Server (cheyenne) was immediately attentive, not overly attentive. Drink order was put in and promptly delivered. (I don't drink alcohol) However, from what i seen, they had an extensive wine menu and from the looks of it they had exquisite high end wines. We put in the appetizer order. They came out in proper time, which means freshness and to order. Great presentation. Placed entrée orders about 2/3rds through the appetizers. Which is great timing. Drinks were also never below 2/3rds empty. Then, we received our beautifully presented entrée and sides. Yes I said beautiful. The colors were fitting to the dish and the taste was bursting with flavor. I had the Chilean Seabass, on a bed of spinach risotto, with heirloom carrots. Absolutely recommend. My daughter had the 8oz center cut filet and whipped mashed potatoes as a side. Cooked to perfection(med rare). I will say the sides are of great portions. You are bringing some home. About 2/3rds through main course, we were asked about dessert. By the way, GREAT use of the 2/3rds rule. Even if you didn't know, now you do. We finished what we were going to eat of our entrée and within minutes, we received our creme brulee. Cheyenne was careful when lighting the top layer of alcohol for the crust, definitely enjoyable to watch. AND WOW it was AMAZING. Very freshly made and to order. Overall experience was 5 star. The way fine dining was meant to be. Thank you to Cheyenne(the server) and to the chef. Amazing work guys.

It had great atmosphere, great service an killer food! Loved being there! Only thing I'd have to complain about is i got seated at 6:10 p.m. an didnt get our food until like 7:40! So if you want good food an have time to hang out, definitely come here!
